Designer behind the new Camaro – Sangyup Lee profile & interview

Sangyup Lee, the designer behind the new Camaro, would be considered by some to be an unlikely candidate to have penned the design of the latest generation of an american car icon such as the Camaro. He was born and raised in Korea and did not have any contact or know what a Camaro was until the age of 20. Nonetheless, he was able to capture the essence of previous generation Camaros and translate it into the current design that has taken the automotive world by storm.
In this video interview with Mr. Lee, we are given some insight into his background and the process behind designing the 2010 camaro, including some neat footage of the Camaro design process during CAD design and physical mockup.
