I hit the chevy dealer about every day when I have lunch with a buddy that works in the bodyshop, I saw the red jewel tint on a trial brazer, I wanted to see the IBM. Is the RJT matallic ? I'm thinking on RJT or IBM, I'V got the silver now but leaning towards IBM ? I need to put the colors in a can and pick one at this point. My cousin went to SEMA and he said car is just plain badass beautiful.

I haven't even begun the credit process. Although I don't believe you need the loan locked in before you order. IMO, you need the loan locked in when the car arrives...so, I'm thinking that we still have time for things to change. And, since the credit market sucks right now, leading to high interest rates, I am waiting and hoping the credit terms lighten up after January 20th. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Yes, it was confirmed with a dealer on this site that December 2nd is the date that the orders are given to GM. However, technically you could change your order up to the date that GM actually puts your order into production. But, if you're not final by 12/2 you are taking a risk.

I have to check out what polished wheels VS. midnight silver wheels (RS) look like on CGM. I've been thinking that I was going to get the polished wheel option on my 2SS/RS but want to see the difference. I'll check out some local GM lots for CGM corvettes.

Checked with GMAC today and with excellent credit they said 7.9 interest rate. Are you going with GMAC ? Checking with my Local and see if they can help me with a new car loan. 12-2-o8 is the last day to lock in your orders ? is that true ? I need 2 change the color and go with polished wheels. What dealer? Where? I'm buying from Barrett Chevrolet in Berlin, MD (near OC) even though I live 160 miles from there (they are one of my customers). I called the owner today to confirm they will still be in business when the Camaro comes out....he said they are profitable at this time and don't forsee going out of business unless GM stops making cars all together. Anyway, I gave them a $500.00 deposit on 10/13 and he said he would give it back to me if I wanted it...and would still place an order for me without the deposit. I told him to hang onto the $$$. Made me feel better

I'll keep my slot too, but my dealer cashed my deposit, after he told me they wouldn't. I wish I had another dealer closer when I started the process. Ive wanted to slap this Fn redneck more than once already. Should I ask him why ?

Ya killing me, I'd love to feel the power too, but went down on a motorcycle back in 95 so got to go with the auto and the L99 :( plenty of power but nothing like taking the R's up.

Did you order the Auto ? I wish I could drive the car first. Never mind man I just saw you ordered the manual. I'm having second thoughts on this L99 motor.SUCKS
