I hate it to let alone my Camaro. Very bad is it when I go to the movies.
2 hours and sometimes longer stands my car alone at the large parking lot. Till now I had always luck and it is nothing happen.
Therefore, I go only to the afternoon showings. In the evening I take my Honda.

I don't park mine in public unless I can see it from where I'm at. I have a lot of haters that I just don't trust.

I would never let someone valet my car. They DGAF about the cars they park. I've seen them jump in and tear around the block in cars, so I don't trust them.

*knock on wood* I've luckily not had my car vandalized in public, but I still am pretty protective of my car. This week I started a new job and I hate the garage I'm assigned to. The spots are kind of small and I worry someone is going to hit my car. Luckily, I work at a hospital and a lot of the doctors have nice cars, so HOPEFULLY they feel the same way about their cars as I do mine. :iono:

I definitely have anxiety when I park the car, but you gotta power through it and just enjoy the car. Its my DD so I need it to get me everywhere, I gotta park it out of site every day.

I just park a bit further away than everyone, where someone will not likely pull up beside. The best is when you find a more expensive car to park beside, and just leave a big gap between your cars.

i agree.. i always try to park away from people or in a spot that only one car can park next to it. i dont fret about it if i have to park in the middle of a parking lot. i only have one scratch on it, someone hit it with their door less than a month after i got it. ive read some of the posts on here people act like you are ridiculous if you try to protect your car. the way i see it, i have an almost $40K investment that i dont want scratched and/or damaged. sure its not a ferrari or porsche, but for the average joe it is still a lot of money. i dont care where i park my 07 dodge ram or my 87 chevy 4x4. big difference.

Yes I do because I know there are some hateful people out there! I have had my share of Ish happen to mine starting from less than a month of buying it! For all those that say its just a car....well it's MY car that I pay for and I don't take kindly to people messing up things I spent my hard earned money on.

I try to find a spot away from most others when possible. I had some a--hole spit down my drivers door one night after I cleaned my car all afternoon...I was pissed!!!

I don't like parking any nice car in a public environment.

Too people that just do not care about others these days.

I wonder if there is some Mercedes-Benz site where there are posts about who the hell are these Camaros parking next to our cars?

:)

anyplace public like the mall - I park as far as possible - I dont mind the walk
I live in a condo complex so I have no choice but to park in the lot.
It becomes more about choosing to park next to someone who doesnt move their car a lot
I have my girlfriend park her SUV on one side of me - so usually that takes care of it

Never take up 2 spots - people hate that.

No scratches or dings that I can see
but only had it for about 2 months

Yup park way out in any parking lot just like when I had my F350 but not for the same reason. The truck would not fit in the crowded spaces. My Camaro looks great and I want to keep it that way. The walk is a small price to pay to keep it nice and I could use the exercise. I have seen way too many people cause damaged to another persons vehicle and just take off. Too many a**holes out there that would damage it just cause they are jealous.

I dont have a daily drive and deal with this everyday at school. I try to narrow down the possibility of people hitting my car by parking in a corner spot. But yes I too have noticed people freely taking a tour of my car, even putting their hands on the glass to get a better look of the interior >=[ But that just lets me know Im doing a good job with the mods :P

I live on campus. Just got back to campus tonight for the first time since buying my car yesterday. Kept looking back while walking away to make sure no one got near it. I am going to have trouble sleeping tonight...
