Looking to replace my OEM Tires

my OEM goodyears are nearing need for replacement and now that they are discontinued, what are people running? I don't track it and drive it only from April to October in the upstate NY

Continental Extreme Contacts. I have a friend on this forum who lives in NJ and he is running them and loves them. I run them as well, have for a long time. His name on here is "joekono".. You could send him a message asking about them.

On my Z/28 I installed Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and they work GREAT on the street, especially if you like to hang corners (like you should!) with your 1LE.

Either Continental Extreme Contact O2's or Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's. They will both perform really well in the summer weather with decent wet performance and they will last anywhere from 10-20 K miles but most folks don't drive these cars, they stare at them.

I’ve been on BFG G Force for a couple years now and really like the handling and wear life. Same scenario, March to November, kinda thing.

I found a New Set of the OEM Goodyear's, I really do like these tires the way the handle, ride and look. I am probably going to switch to the Pilot sports when the time comes, I do wish they would come out with a good looking tire that performs because I think the 4S is a boring looking tire.

I just put on some Yokohama Advan Apex tires on my 1LE which does some work on the track.
They are one of the best sets I have used. On par with the PS4Ss I had on a couple years ago, but for less cost.
They are great around down and really come into their own on track.
I have been pleasantly surprised by them!

Trawz , Do you have Pic's of them on your car?

They ride quite well.
The sidewalls are stiffer then the Nitto Invos I had on before, so they SLIGHTLY louder and stiffer.
But, because I use them on the track as well, they feel much more responsive and provide great feedback.
I'm overall very happy with them.

I really like the Kumho Ecsta PS91 tire in the 285/35/20 factory size on my 1LE. They are a good tire for the money. (I don't track my 1LE) This might sound like "blasphemy" to some, but I also have 4 of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S mounted on OEM ZL1 5 spoke wheels & I can't tell the difference while driving between the 2 brands.

OK, so what am I missing here. Assuming that the GY F1 Supercar 3's are available why would they not be the first place to go when replacements boots are required for our OEM GY F1 Supercar 2's? I get that there are other manufactures offering a solid alternative and some for similar or a better dollar. I choose PS4's for my C6 and they are great (reviews say even better than the G3's in many categories) but I'm fighting to stay with the GY G3's when the time comes. Haven't decided either way yet but I do like the tread pattern on the G3's. Did I answer my own question here. Enlighten me please.
