April 24th Meet - Pre Meet Place for South Bay

2 Attachment(s)
okay...to those meeting up at the Bank of America at the South Bay Galleria for the meet on the 24th of April at Stillen, here are a couple photos of where we'll meet up for those that haven't been before.

we're gonna leave here by 8:10am at the latest so we can arrive on time at Sonic Burgers before we head to Stillen from there. i'll try to arrive at the Bank of America around 7:45am or so.

post here if you're gonna meet up at the Galleria so i can have an idea of how many people to wait for. we don't want to be waiting on people if everyone's arrived and we don't know it...lol.

hope these aren't too big :D

here's my cell if you need to get in touch for any reason...i.e. running late. Ryan: 310-892-3937

24th Meet - San Diego

San Diego !
How about we all meet at McDonalds at 2185 Vista Way, Oceanside, CA 92054-5665
It is EZ to get to, take the 5 to the 78 east & it's the very first exit. North side, & there's a Starbucks there also.
You guys will probably want to hook up in San Diego somewhere, then cruiz up to Oceanside.

North County Inland can meet at McDonalds at 1040 W Valley Pkwy, Escondido, off the 15 on Valley Parkway. We should leave at 7:45am for Oceanside.

We should leave Oceanside by 8:30. It's 52 miles to Stillen. It' starts at 10, but parking is going to be scarce & we should get there a little early.

If this is cool, Please let me know, so we know who to look for ! I don't know who all is going from the South.

here are our directions to get to Sonic:

1632 North Lemon Street
Anaheim, CA

405 South ---> 110 North ---> 91 East ---> Harbor Blvd exit (exit 28) toward Lemon Street ---> Left onto North Lemon Street

~ 36 min.
~ 28 miles

alternatively, we can just head out of the Bank of America to Artesia and make a right to head east. Artesia has a 405 South entrance at Prairie Ave. or we can just take it all the way down as it turns into the 91 East.

Nice job Ryan!!! We still have a few days to get everyone on the same page. Hopefully, one of the mods can add our information to the first post of the "Meet" thread.

Good job on rallying your troops, Randy!!! Looks like everyone is getting things straightened out!!!

April 24th Meet - OC and all

Official time for "The Ultimate Roll Out" to begin is 9am sharp!!!

EDIT: Some of us will be there as early as 8am!

EDIT 2: We'll be on channel 5 for those that will have 2-way radios!

EDIT 3: Buffnshine will be "picking up" the hotel folk at 8:30am and hopefully get back to Sonic at 8:40am

Okay everybody, sorry for taking too long to post the information. We've confirmed "The Spot". For the members that have been around for a while, you will most likely recognize it:

Sonic Burgers
1632 North Lemon Street
Anaheim, CA‎

There is a huge parking lot that should hold everybody. From here, we will hop on the freeway and head towards Stillen. It should take a good 20 - 25 minutes to get to Stillen from here

I'm the kind of person that likes visual aides, so I've put together a video clip to hopefully help everybody out:

South Bay Meeting Spot

San Diego Meeting Spot

IE and High Desert Meeting Spot

Sacto, San Jose, Fresno Meeting Spot

Thanks everybody, I just want to make sure everybody knows whats going on. After talking with "G" today, we would like everybody that is going to "The Spot" to meet there early enough so that we can get going at 9am sharp!!! This will give us plenty of time to navigate the freeways and park all of our cars at Stillen.

If they are leaving Sonic Burgers ("the spot") at 9am, that would have them arriving at Stillen around 9:20-9:30.

Assuming that we are going directly from Oceanside to Stillen, we may want to leave Oceanside by 8:15 if we want to get parking.

Del Mar Fairgrounds exit - Via De Vai?

I'm open to places...

Since we're meeting 6BANGER and company in Oceanside, how about meeting a little farther south than Del Mar? Maybe plan on leaving at 7:30am from the vistor center off Clairmont Dr and the I-5 (San Diego Visitor Info, 2688 East Mission Bay Drive, San Diego, CA 92109-6898)?

Maybe not that early, but it's a good estimate....we're probably rolling down to Stillen with about 120 Camaro's. Getting on all the correct freeways may slow us down a bit, but I'm sure everybody will make it there safely.

I nominate 6BANGER to be your guys' lead car.

Iwantone2 04-18-2010 02:26 AM

Oh, I nominate Ryan (TripleB) to be one of the South Bay guys' lead cars.

April 24th Meet - Sacto, San Jose, Fresno

Hey guys

It was kinda hard to find our meet-up game plan in the bigger post so I though I would make a smaller thread to confirm our convoy times and route for the big April 24, 2010 Camaro meet in Southern CA. (see gabraddock's post below).

gabraddock - Meet in front of PF Chang's in the Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton at 3:30-3:45 to leave by 4 and no later then 4. We are meeting up with the Modesto and Sacramento gang at the Larry M Combs rest stop at 5. Then headed to In and Out at the Grapevine to meet up with the Fresno and Bakersfield gang by 8. Any questions feel free to PM me.

See you all on Friday!!!!!!!!!

marsfive 04-18-2010 04:33 AM

i second that... and ill be there on saturday

gabraddock 04-18-2010 09:54 AM

Sketti, you are meeting us at the rest stop and not at the mall correct? I believe, it's you, Ronin, Brown 5150 and Sloepoke (a new member) that will be meeting us at the rest stop at 5. We are meeting the Fresno and Bakersfield guys and gals at In and Out at the Grapevine. We are supposed to get to In and Out by 8, give or take. See you there.

Iwantone2 04-18-2010 11:05 AM

Awesome!!! It's good to see you guys are also rallying your troops!!! We still have a few days left to work out any kinks, but i'm sure it will all end up great in the end!

Rtoups 04-18-2010 02:41 PM

I'll be there around 8!
