Interior is starting to...fall apart?
So I noticed this the other day and starting to wonder what I can do to fix it. I didn't notice the issues until after I got my tint job done the other day, however I don't know why they would have had to remove this to apply it since its not like I got the windshield done. There's a little plastic snap to put it back in place, but it pops back out after a few minutes.
Any idea how I could get this fixed? I've never bought a new car before so I was wondering-if I took this back to the dealer to have it looked at, would I be laughed off the lot? http://lh6.ggpht.com/_o7TgHNa2fgY/Sj...E/s800/004.JPG http://lh3.ggpht.com/_o7TgHNa2fgY/Sj...0/s800/005.JPG |

There have been a few posts about this problem already. Take it back to your dealer, they will make it right.

This was an issue long before production began in March. I am surprised it was not taken care of properly.

I was actually just going to post this. My car is a week and a half old and the exact same thing happened to mine except it was the left side A pillar. I guess I'll be headed back to the dealership too.

New clips now available -- old clips did not hold it on in all cases.

Do the dealerships know this?
please tell them!! |
no need to demand or get upset. Simple fix thats covered under warranty at your local Chevrolet dealer ;)

Just a little Crazy Glue on the notch and it stays in place. That's what I did. I'll bet there are hundreds like this.
Post if this has happened to you! :chevy: |
I had a customer of mine I saw sitting in service with this issue, before the service writer got a chance to write him in, I pressed it back into place myself, just put a little umph behind it and felt it click into place.
