1LE tires pricing

Hi people

It's time to change the tires on my 1LE and I did some shopping around to get some pricing on the same. Having heard about tirerack, I started my search there but ended up with a price difference of more than $100 than what the dealer quoted.
Then I did a google search on the parts no. and ended up with www.gmoutletparts.com which had a quote less by $200.

So I wanted to ask you guys if this is a legit website to buy stuff from ?
If not, what would be the best place to buy OEM tires either online or in the Bay area, california.

The tire specs just in case are 285/35ZR20 Good Year Supercar Eagle F1

It's actually a dealership in Center line, MI.

Awesome to know when I need to make an order myself - I can drive down and pick them up. Sweet!

Damn thats a good price!

Tire prices are all over the place so check around. I got a pair last year from Sams club for $236.00 and there are 2 models, 92Y and 100Y. 100Y is what comes on our cars.

They've got some great prices on our tires.

Nice pricing.

Good point Mark. Some of us may not understand that difference. Load rating right?

cornerspeed92 02-24-2015 06:18 PM

Yes, i also believe it's a speed rating thing as well, although the "Y" rating is a 186 MPH rating. I do know the 92 Y's are cheaper and not what comes on our cars. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete....jsp?techid=35

Thanks for sharing Striker1le! They beat Tirerack by $400, and that includes shipping! Their component part prices are pretty reasonable as well.

Careful when ordering tires.... There are two different part numbers.. One for left and one for right..
