Dealer honoring College Student discount and selling at MSRP
 

I spent this morning finding out which dealerships will honor the college student discount and is selling at MSRP. Out of the several dealerships, only one will do both=> Don Steves Chevrolet in La Habra. This is the email response i got from him:

Dear Mr. Lin,

Thank you for your recent inquiry for the New 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. Yes, we will honor the GM College Discount and we can Factory order one for you at the MSRP price.
We are taking Factory orders at this time so please contact Ron Drake direct so he can go over any questions or Options you may have. You can reach Ron direct
at 562-448-9634.

PLUS, I found a dealership in pasadena (Team Chevrolet) that has a v6 camaro to test drive; going there tomorrow!!!! Make your way there guys!!

I'm surprised that you got that information in an informal e-mail like that.

My experience has been the dealers wanting to talk on the phone, or in person when it comes to pricing and discounts.

So, they can order one for you, but do they have any spots left in their original allocation?

I ordered mine through Ron at Don Steve's. He has been cool and upfront. Buying at MSRP. Black 2LT/RS. Not sure about honoring college discount since I graduated in 00'.
