  • It will be available first as a coupe, A convertible version will follow 6-12 months later
  • Key Start (no push-button - possibly an option)

  • The Camaro will feature Automatic Fuel Management (AFM)
  • An SS version of the new Camaro will be offered.
  • First sight of the production Camaro will make you either (a)wet your pants, (b)bleed from various bodily orifices, or (c)cry like a little girl.

CONFIRMED COLORS:

Please feel free to reply with your own additions/corrections and I will add them to this list. Check back often as this post will be updated every time we get a new piece of confirmed information.

Could there be a section with what we suspect (and agree) as extremely likey details?

Mr. Wyndham 10-16-2007 03:27 PM

How about we post up additions, and Pencil, you add them to your original post?

There will be a V6 and a V8 option
There will be a choice of manual or automatic
Production will begin October '08 in Oshawa Ontario.

No LS7 option
No LS2 option
Pricing in line with Mustang msrp's

Uhh will add more as I think of them..

Pencil.Fight 10-16-2007 04:43 PM

Has it been confirmed by GM that there will be no LS2 or LS7?

Also, I'm looking through the forum, but I can't seem to find what it said the new size of the production car will be. If anyone remembers what it is, please post the length, width, and height. Plus the wheel diameter and the new side-mirror height.

The_Stache 10-16-2007 05:30 PM

scott settlemire confirmed the whole ls2 and ls7 item .. I take him as a reliable source of info. Hell hes where i got the whole 2010 model year thing from awhile ago.. and guess what.. he just confirms it again..

I noticed another interesting "find" in the recent prototype photo;

Atop the dash, it looks like there may be a separate "pod" for the speedometer and the tachometer, similar to what was on the '69.
