LS3 (STOCK) swap for LS3 376/480 HP

Thanks for this space.

I have a Camaro SS 2011 MT, my engine (LS3 stock) suffered a serious injury (piston and block) so I must replace, my choice is Chevrolet Performance LS 376/480 HP Crate Engines.

I appreciate your help to consider all relevant aspects of the process.

I am from Chile and I am the founder of CamaroMotor.cl (www.facebook.com/camaromotor.cl)

Sounds like a plan, that engine comes with a GM hot cam. will have a nice sound and little bump in power. I recomend a set of long tube headers with the swap! Your gonna need a tune also

Thank you, my other upgrades:
  • CAI K&N Typhoon
  • Exhaust Manifold Borla Custom Long Header
  • Exhaust line Borla ATAK

Get rid of the K&N go with a vararam, CAI, rotofab or haltech

Contact PCM's for less. I believe they do mail order tuned. You'll need either a handheld or hp tuners program.

Texas Speed and Performance also does mail order tunes, guarantees them and will reflash as many times as you want in one year after purchase. I recently found it on their page looking at what they had available.

Speaking of TSP. why not just get a engine from them already tuned??

They have a few options available when I viewe their website
