COOL FEATURE FOR CAMARO!!!

its actually better then NAVIGATION!!!

it only cost about 10 bucks a month too!!!!

while in dash navi units are about 1000 - 2000 (rip-off)

the equivalent of 100 months of service for this!!!!!

http://www.onstar.com/us_english/jsp/plans/enav.jsp

ONSTAR eNAV
FREAKING SWEET!!!!

type in your account number for onstar and you can "send" directions to your car with turn by turn navi!!!from MAPQUEST!!!!! freaking SWEEEEET

Sounds cool, but what if you get lost and have no access to the internet? :(

Doesn't happen to me, but just thought I'd ask :D

Ooo... pretty good idea. I, personally, don't care about a touch screen, blah-blah-blah, but I think this is a great find a great idea. I want to drive Camaro, not play PS3 :D

Also, is OnStar really only $10 a month? Or is that only the price of this particular option? I always thought that OnStar itself was more expensive...

That is a cool feature. I will make sure that I have a HOME destination so if I get loast I can always find myway back home :)

It self adjusts there is another thread about it...didn't know about the mapquest tho

VenomZ302 03-24-2009 02:21 PM

That's cool, although the visual map in my G35 is helpful... By the time my Camaro comes in, I may have a Blackberry or something and use Verizon's navigator. I'm sure that would be enough for me.

Well, then you just push the handy OnStar button on the rearview and tell the friendly service rep where you want to go. Then he/she sends that data directly to your car for turn by turn directions!!

Great feature!!!

I just wish the voice giving directions would sound more like KITT instead of Steven Hawking.... But I'll take it nonetheless!!!!

I've used it, it works well, but unfortunately does not send the route you plan. Only the destination. Hopefully a future version would allow you to send a route when you know your start/end destinations.

You can store up to 5 destinations. If you are going somewhere, load those 5 destinations and if you get lost going to one of them, choose that destination and it will give you directions from where you are at.

Onstar starts at $19.95 a month I think and the nav is an extra $9.95 a month.

Is that just for basic nav? Or does that include the security features as well? Sorry, I guess I could go look it up :( haha... thanks though.
