Try soaking the covers in hot soapy water before trying to install them.

I used a very small, thin screwdriver and WD-40. Sprayed the rubber on the inside and coated screwdriver. Work 3 sides in (bottom and sides) and then work the tiny screwdriver in the top corners to pry the rubber end on the top up and over and work it to the middle...doing a little kind of crow bar action while pushing up at the bottom of the pedal to let it have a little "give".

I tried several suggestions and I found that the brake (and clutch) covers are rubber with a metal plate over them that is glued. I simply dipped them in hot water, seperated the rubber cover from the metal cover, installed the rubber cover in 10 seconds and reglued the metal cover. It was super simple.

What type of glue did you use?

Gorilla Glue Gel. Been on for a while with zero issues.

Cool, thanks!

Anyone who is getting these pedals, separate the aluminum cover from the rubber pad by heating with hair dryer - then slowly remove aluminum from rubber - put rubber pad on pedal - then re-glue aluminum on installed rubber pad. 100% easier!! Using this method makes the gas pedal the most difficult of the 3 pedals by far.

Going to try separating the metal from the rubber. Cause these pedal pads are whooping my ass. Tried lube on the inside and small flat head and no luck. Ugh

I know this thread is dated, but any tips on how you installed them? I just ordered a set.

Thanks
