JRE scoop installed

Just installed my scoop from JRE and RotoFab washer bottle. It's a bit of a tight squeeze without taking the wheel off, but everything turned out great. Loaded my updated tune and went for a quick spin and it feels good. Don't know if it's my imagination or not, but the throttle response feels a little better.

Cool! No pun intended. more cold air more noticable at freeway speeds I hear.

Congrats on the new mod, the difference is noticeable isn't it! Also, thank you for choosing Cold Air Inductions!! (I seen our crest on the filter and noticed the insulation inside the box :))

Not a lot of time and money put into some helpful gains. Is it a difficult or just akward install? Did you have to remove any of you CAI parts?

Yep, it's your CAI:D It's a good combo with the scoop. Thanks:thumbsup: I don't know how I managed to get it dirty already...

Not too difficult, just awkward without removing wheel. I left the intake in place, but I removed the lid and filter at one point so I could reach down and tighten one the the bolts on the scoop. Getting rid of the washer bottle really opens up the space around the air filter.

That means you driving your car and are getting your hands dirty under the hood, nothing wrong with that!! A little alumium polish and a nice microfiber cloth will get her shining again! :)

Yeah, I just got some black rustoleum to paint the aluminum. I thought it would stand out too much otherwise. Now, it's barely noticeable from the front.

Yeah maybe... :chevy:

You could always just get a chrome grille:D I think the scoop looks good in silver, too. I believe the ADM scoop and the one from Apex both come in black. The painting part is real easy, but pulling it out is a bit of a PITA...unless you get bored and feel like removing your wheel.

I have theut JRE scoop and it would have looked better painted black, but hey, it is what it is. It serves the purpose regardless of color.

Are all the scoops the same?
