Post your VIN if your transmission broke!
I think all of us would like to know if there's a pattern between breaking transmissions and a certain VIN range. So far I'm hearing it's the 16000 range but there's only one way to be sure...asking everyone.
Post your VIN if you broke your transmission and let us know if you were using launch control or not. |
I'll post a few from around the forums to get the tranny ball rolling.

I'm having trouble w/ mine, but I haven't been to the dealer about it yet (out-of-state registration delay). My clutch stuck about 2-3 inches from the floor and smoked like crazy. Nothing broken that I know of however...

Looks like it is not just confined to the 16000's. BTW, what were you guys doing when it broke? Comp mode? dump clutch at over 4000 rpms?
