As I didn't wish to steal any of my fellow Sport customer's thunder on their respective threads I wanted to share a couple pics of my own. Just got back after getting to spend a little time w/ this bad boy and had a thoroughly enjoyable encounter. :chevy:

Much has been said and shared ad nauseum about people's reaction upon first witnessing this work of art so I won't attempt to add any additional thoughts. I'm just totally jazzed that I finally got the opportunity to sit in one. Coupled w/ the fact that the dealer told me mine was being produced this week left me doing :happyanim: :happyanim: all the way home.

I have an auto black 2lt on order but came away suitably impressed w/ the inferno orange. I keep thinking how gratifying it must be for fbodfather to hear about all of these wonderful first impression reactions as more and more hit the streets. :thumbsup:

P.S. Pardon the cell phone pic quality by the way. Lastly...I'd really love to be able to post a 30 second clip of the salesman starting her up and punchin it a bit. Wrong file type. Can we assist this computer unsavvy fellow??

It's going to be covered up w/in the next couple of days until the GM reveal on the 6th.

Are those black or cyber grey stripes? The lighting makes it difficult to tell.

Kewl...see if they remember Marc from Thursday. That's when I was in there to see the IOM and placed my order on a black on black 2ss/rs :D

Those ARE the black stripes you can tell because for one they are black...and two they are flat black. The CGM stripes are glossy.

And those wheels look like the incorrect offset in the front...how could GM let that slip through?

The wheels didn't come from GM...dealer put them on after the car arrived.

I like those wheels except the $4,000 price of em.

Can we see some CGM stripes?!?!

I just came back from this dealer today. I saw this car in person and was able to sit in it for a couple of minutes before they put a rope around it. This car is stunning! The seat, the gauges, the interior, the color, the shifter, and that sexy exterior. If this is my car, the only thing I would change is the exhaust. The exhaust sound just needs a little more punch into it.

I have some pictures that I'll post later today.

Here are a few pics I was able to take. I couldn't take shots from the other side as all the people were on that side. Also the sun was coming from the passenger side of the car. These were taken before they took the car away to be cleaned. After it was washed, it went directly back to the showroom.
