Transformers Midnight Showing signup (Norcal, 6/28-29)
 

Well application is in. It should come out to be a couple dollars per car to block off theatre way in front of the Century20 theatre in Redwood City. Pyr0b0y was able to get signatures of the businesses around to allow us to block of the street to traffic so we could park there for the opening of the movie. Below is a picture of the street and all the cars that can fit there currently. I'm working with the City of Redwood City to see if we can move some planters to allow for more parking.

Pyrb0b0y and ElManny will be showing up at 10:20 ish to set up the barricades and will be opening them to allow our cars in to park as well as emergency vehicles from 10:30pm until we go into the movie. I work until 11pm and will be showing up close to the movie's start time, so for the people showing up, we need at least one person to hold our place in line. I have to wait until 5pm to call the manager but I may be able to have them hold a spot for us, but that's not guaranteed so we'll need to plan to have at least one person holding our spot in line from 10:30 until we are seated. =/ For people signing up, please let me know if you can wait in line even for a little bit. I don't want us to be fighting for seating, specially if it takes one person to guarantee we can sit together. :)

Actually where we are parking there is a Chipotle, a Pizza My Heart, an expensive restaurant (forgot the name), and a sushi spot I believe. Also all around downtown in those few blocks there are places to eat, another sushi spot, a Sandwich Spot (yes that's its name and I think it's opened now), a Hookah bar and restaurant, and I doubt they are open that late but an Ike's. Now because of the time of this I'm not sure how many will be open other then Chipotle.

A few block down on Broadway (still part of downtown RWC) there is a place called City Pub which has a good beer selection and typical Burgers/Salads and the like, it is fairly good. On that same block of Broadway there is a Mexican place (never been) and a Pho noodle place(never been), they are all next to each other for the most part.

That is just to name a few.... haha
