X pipe only?

muffler shop has suggested just a magnaflow x pipe/ resonator delete. $120 installed. Looking for a better sound until I can afford a full catback, which could be the end of the year. Thoughts?

I would just wait and do the cat back.

You should just wait until you can get what you really want.

You will be paying twice for your setup. I couldn't afford a Catback at 1st, so I bought the Borla Axel back. Then when I could, I added the borla X Pipe to convert it to a full catback setup.

I would wait.

Here is mine with the resonator swapped out for a magnaflow X-Pipe and muffler delete with 5 inch tips. About $250 parts and labor. Sounds AWESOME. One of the guys I work with has a shelby gt500 and wishes his sounded like mine.

Here is the before and after the X-pipe and resonator delete on my car... Both with the Dynomax 39494 Axle back.

Before X-pipe and res delete: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chpLGAZ7KUY

After: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPAhHGwcfoo

It only cost me a $95 bucks, and a few hours of my time, but IMO not worth the effort or $ still. Save your money.
