2014 2SS/1LE for Sale - Make me an offer - Pics Included

Wanting to sell my 2014 2SS/1LE for a low mileage C6 Z06 Vette...Make me a legitimate offer. Below are the performance & items that I will leave on the car when I sell it. The car will make 500rwhp as is with the parts added below...

I'm taking off the Whipple 2.9L supercharger, Fuel System (putting the stock fuel rails and stock fuel injectors back on), and the Alky Methanol Injection system...bringing the power down from 800rwhp to 500rwhp....It won't be comparable to the ZL1 then, but I think it could bring in $48,000-$50,000. The Lethal Racing Night Fury Cam/Install costs $2,500 alone, the cylinder head upgrade with the Holley Valve Covers was $800, the Long Tube headers cost $1,300 installed, the Borla Axle Back exhaust was $650, the CAI Induction was $350, the MPD1 Z-Force Ram Air Hood was $1,600 painted/installed, the engine dress up billet and carbon fiber was $1,000, the custom 1LE emblems from emblempros.com was $300, the new rear tires were $675 = $9175 I'm leaving on the car to sell...

My 2014 2SS/1LE was $43,976.83 sticker price purchased at Strickland Chevrolet in Houston, TX...I would be willing to put it back completely stock and sell it if someone was interested in that option as well.

All aftermarket and performance items were professionally installed by Lethal Racing in Lafayette, LA...thanks! New pictures below

Sad to see people who can't stick with a car for more than a year at a time. What a machine and it's just not enough for you?? Shame, good luck selling it.

I must admit, I got bored with the car very quickly Boydr12....I wanted a Z06 Vette at the time that I bought my 1LE...It's a very nice and fun car, it's just not what I want.

So difficult to say what used modded cars are worth. I guess your best bet is to try at the price you want and gauge interest. It may take a while to find the right price/buyer. Good luck with your sale man, that is a awesome car and hope it goes to a good home.

Make sure before you sell it you are sure. I sold my 2013 ZL1 and now have a 2014. I contemplated a C6 Z06 but decided I wanted another Camaro.

That's a really nice machine you got there.

So in your opinions, what do you guys think the sell price should be?

Zerort 03-20-2014 11:23 AM

Too nice to sell it - Keep it.

My thought is you could get more than $50k. It's essentially a better ZL1 that you have built, and it has low mileage. What does a new ZL1 cost? $58,000 plus/ minus including tax.

Now, how easy it would be to sell is the tough part. How long are you willing to wait?

Still, if I were you, I'd keep it.

IMO cars modified to this level are hard to sell. If you do sell it you would be lucky to get sticker for it. It you part it out then you won't take such a hit.

Dude you built a beautiful car. The issues you face is the car is used, the redesigned 14, 6th gen right around the corner, no longer under warranty, has mods that many people aren't interested in and in used ZL1 territory to boot. Not to mention people may say if I'm going to spend $50k on used why not go new ZL1 for $6k more. Or they may say new 14 1LE with all the options and recaros and warranty for less. Probably all things you know. I wish you nothing but a sale of the car but you have to drop another $5000 to get some serious interest, maybe more. It's a buyers market, you either have to suck it up and take the beating or hold on longer. It's only money and with all you put in that car you def have some to play with, your middle name is moneybags ;).

Private seller....45-50k. Might want to consider removing the spider stuff, most people dont like custom stuff like that when buying a pre owned.

Dealer trade in....i wouldn't dare, they would give you a number you might find insulting.

it may take time but there is someone out there that has the money and wants a modded camaro like yours, you just have to be lucky enough that they find you.

My fully loaded 2SS 1LE was $41K new, so $50K with your $9100 in aftermarket mods is asking retail for the car plus mods. I would start at $45K considering its used and be happy with $40k-ish if you get it.

01pewterz28 03-20-2014 12:00 PM

No more than $39k, 40k if I was a 2SS/RS 1LE

1 BADD 1LE 03-20-2014 12:00 PM

My 2014 2SS/1LE was $43,976.83 sticker price purchased at Strickland Chevrolet in Houston, TX...I would consider $48K, if It won't sell for that, I'll keep it and go buy the Z06 and just be happy...only reasoning for getting rid of the car is I don't have the garage space and I will not let it sleep outside!
