+1 on Gunkk's original post. I followed it, worked great.
Might sound like it might take a long time, but by using the roller there's very little chance of dripping anything where it shouldn't get to.
Also, since you're standing up the whole time, I swear it feels like *less* of a PITA than hand-cleaning the brake dust off the wheels. (Nope, haven't switched to the Powerstop pads yet.)
You can usually find the two-bottle kit for a very reasonable price on either Amazon (or maybe Walmart); IIRC I pretty much used up one whole bottle, but only about half of the other, so next time I might just buy a single of the one I used, and empty out the half-full one in the process.
