Personally I wouldn't do the 2" if your staying NA or even Boosted. I've had some fast rides that made plenty of HP and I always run 1 7/8. They fit better and you don't lose the torque you will with 2". My 16 SS made 850 or so with SE 1 7/8 and xpipe, plus I ran the 1 7/8 on my NA C7 with no cats. You'll hear both sides so ultimately it will be up to you.
