Totally cool to disagree and I appreciate it! Purely my opinion based on what I experienced with trying it. The strut top mount would contact the rubber about 90 degrees before full left or right of steering. That last 90 degrees would compress the rubber against the strut tower and I could see movement of the front end that didn't happen w/o "The Toilet Mod"
. My assumption was that this is a bad thing. However, in hindsight, you don't turn that far often - perhaps hardly ever - at least I don't. If it reduced this annoying hollow 'lumber sound' then I'm all for it. Agreed it looked a LOT better too.
