You shouldn't post someone's email address on a forum like that- she'll get spammed to death. That being said, yes, you should wax vinyl to protect it from UV. I use carnuba on mine and the 20 year old "7 year vinyl" stripes look ok.

I waxed or use Zaino on all of my vinyl. Zaino clear seal on my hood wrap that I did. If you do stripes or other designs, just do not go across the edges. That causes build up and lifting. Work from the center out. On a hood it's not a big deal, but stripes or other accents shoul go from the center out.

Do Not put wax on the 1LE wrapped hood. Lots of information on this subject. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=321361

Never mind- missed the "matte" part- the stripes on my race car are not matte. However, there are several products out to protect vinyl from UV that don't add shine. Use something, or plan to change the wrap in a few years.

Everyone owns there car they are not owned by all members or GM. We can make it a matte finish, a glossy matte finish, swirled finish, wet look. It doesn't matter, because the wrap is only warranty for 2 years and its not going to hurt the value when 95% of the public thanks the owner put it on there themselves.
I use adam's wax and VRT, I can make it glossy, shiney matte, matte. Anything is better then the grey looking dried out looks that I see most 1LE's around here with. |

3m is responsible for the hood wrap warranty , not the dealer . That was the letter in my car and owners manual when I bought it , I have a 2015 1le .
