Mich. 295s on 10in wheels?
So....Checking with TireRack & Discount Tire, 285/35/20 Super Sports are on Natl. backorder. Also per Michelin there is no current schedule to build them! Anyone try a 295/35/20 on a 10in wheel? It's listed as the min. wheel size but I have my doubts. I want it for the front as I have ZL1 wheels. No Hankook RS3s till the end of the month! A lot of problems when

I don't have any data on 295s on 10" wheels (I have the same wheels as you do running the PSS 285s) but have you considered the BFG Rivals as an alternative? Supposed to be a new version available but I don't know when.

They run real wide. A PSS in 295, I'd imagine, should be on an 11" wheel. I've got 315's on mine and come time for new tires I'll be downsizing to 295's.

If they are ferrari spec 295s they are wide, need a 10.5 rim at least

10 to 11.50 inch is what Michelin recommends.

Any reason why you will be downsizing to 295's in the future?

My wheel offset has them sticking out the fender a little. With the 315's I rub the fenders on every bump or dip in the road. I don't want to change wheels though, I like these. I may stick with the 315's, I'm putting in coilovers and subframe bushings soon so it could be just fine after that.
Second reason is I want to try a closer to square setup later, 285's in the front and 295's in the back. Maybe 285's all around like the 1LE, I don't know. Right now I'm 275/315. Last edited by Synyster; 04-19-2015 at 03:50 AM. |

I have a set of continental 295/35/20's on my TSW 10.5 and the fit spot on. And do they hook. I am actually surprised to see how well these tires hook. I will be buying again. They handle awesome also.
