Has anybody tried the new Sta-Bil 360 gas stabilizer?

Realizing it's going to be a longer Winter than expected I'm going to throw some Sta-bil in the tank today. Has anyone tried the new Sta-bil 360? IS it worth $20 a bottle, or just go wioth regular Sta-Bil?
Also, I have a C-Tec battery tender on her but it's connected through the trunk and i'm concerned about having the trunk closed while the C-Tec is on. Don't batteries give off gasses while being charged/tended?

I Put "Baby" In The Garage Too For The Winter - She Sets From November 1st Till May 1st - She Too Is On Battery Tender In The Trunk - I Prop The Trunk Open Just In Case Of Gas Build-Up - Fill Her Full Of Gas And Add A Can Of Sea-Foam, Pump The Tires To 40 lbs. And Forget Her Till Spring

This is my 4th winter putting car up & have never put a battery tender on it and the garage is not heated. I don't start the car up while in storage & have not had a problem yet with the battery. I always put 1 oz. of Sta-bil good for 20 gals. of gas. Filled up drive home & put up for 6 months. The original battery has an air vent no need to worry about gas build up. That is one reason why you can't just put any battery in this car because of where it is located it has to be a battery with a vent.

The battery is vented, so there's no concern. BTW, why not connect the battery tender to the terminals in the engine bay, and close the trunk?

As for Sta-Bil, I have been using the regular stuff for years in cars and small engines. Never a problem. However, the time to put it in is when you fill the tank before storage, not half way through the winter. It needs to get mixed during fill up, and then the treated gas needs to get into the fuel line and injectors when you drive home from the gas station.

Thanks guys, I'll move the tender to under the hood. I'll do one start up to get the stabilizer through the system. Let it run a good 30 minutes. I'll mix it in a gas can before pouring it in the tank. I've got the wheels parked on plywood to get it off the concrete.

Don't forget to open garage door if you let it run that long. Good Luck

Make sure you use a good extension cord & not very long if you have to.

Whether you put additives in the fuel or not, it is highly recommended to top off the fuel tank when you store the vehicle to prevent condisation in the tank.
