Hood, trunk, and Door Gaps

1 more question for those that have gotten their Z already, are you happy with the hood, trunk, and door gaps? fairly even and straight? Reason i ask, my pass door on my 2012 Camaro has never been as flush as the drivers side even after they tried to adjust it.

Everything is spot on for me. I looked over everything several times. I'm very impressed and pleased with the finish on this one.

My GT350 was pitiful on the back quarter panels. Both sides connected to the bumper you could see the clips and weren't clipped in. I am impressed with the ZL1 so far. It was one of the first things I checked.

Gaps all look great! The only issues I've seen are some minor paint issues and a small place at the wheel well on the rear quarter that I just noticed last night. You can only see it if you look at just the right....or wrong.....angle. It looks like a bend in the sheet metal. The paint issues are a couple of places that look kinda dull. One on the hood and one on the rear quarter. I put a little wax on the spot on the hood and you have to look really hard to find it now, so once I have the paint correction and ceramic coating done, I don't see those 2 places being an issue any longer. The other issue with the paint is some excess clear bubbled up on the bottom of the hood in the front. You only see it when the hood is open and you have to look for it. It doesn't just jump out at you, so I'm not sure if I'll try to correct it or not.

Gaps are all great on mine. Far better than on my M3.

Aside from a trunk mat fitment issue (covered with a weather tech looks fine now), shock tower finish(flashing not removed just painted over) the rest of the fit and finish on this car is pretty much spot on. Had to get a a pretty aggressive paint correction to get it there also. It's black so I've come to grips with the fact that no matter how careful I am with washing I'm gonna end up with some fines here and there. But nothing like it was upon delivery!

Vert gaps are dead on and consistent. Shock tower paint and sealer look good. Top fit is good with smooth and quiet operation.

Trunk area gap

I wanted to see if anyone had any rubbing spots along the trunk area. It doesn't seem to be hitting when it's closed. Other than this, the car is perfect.
