Turn on electric with out engine in?
I have removed engine in my Camaro 2012 convertible for restoration. Now I need to pull up the top and windows. Is it safe to connect battery and turn the key to use the electric power windows and top or will something be damaged?

Just pull fuel pump fuse for when you turn key to far and spray gas everywhere

You're fine, as said, make sure the fuel pump is disabled.

pretty sure there's a fuse block in the trunk.

Each underside of the fuse box/relay centers lids have the information.
IT should be in the engine compartment one, just pull the relay. |

The fuel pump control module fuse is in the trunk, behind the carpet trim on the passenger side quarter panel. The diagram is on the fuse box cover and will show you exactly which fuse to pull. It's listed as FPCM.
