Help with weird Noise . - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello all,

I get a whistling like noise when I open my driver side window.
It does it at any speed. Only when I open the window it does it.
Might be hard to explain this to someone but maybe someone here has had this issue ?

The mirror makes a whistling noise under certain conditions on mine.
Others here complain about it too on their 5th gen.
Mine i even hear with the window closed at times.
I think of it as a free Deer Whistle option they threw in. lol

Now that I think of it, this started happening when I adjusted my mirror the other day and then heard it yesterday. It has to be that then. Thanks for your input

I can't hear any noise except my electric cut outs when I open them.

10 years ago leaving the dealership, i gave it the beans on a straight road and heard the whistle for the first time. I smoke so i reach my arm outside to ash by the mirror area and it altered the sound immediately. Found out myself kinda like my wrangler side mirror. it makes a aero wind whistle sometimes at the right angle and wind current. since turbo i cant hear a damn thing out of my left ear LOL
