Help needed - can't find correct trunk struts

Hi, everyone

Here's the story - I can't find the correct part number for the rear trunk struts. The ones that are currently installed can't hold the trunk at all. I've tried 4 different sites and options, including GMpartsdirect.com, and all I got now is 4 pairs of struts that are longer then than needed . All sites state that my VIN should have the longer ones, or I'm doing something wrong here. My car is 2016 RS. The struts that are currently on the car have no way of reading the info on them, there are too many scratches and signs of wear on their surface

Did anyone else have this issue?

The ones on my car look pretty short, like yours. Part # 84110661 is printed on them.

Thanks! Can you please measure yours, the body part and the piston plus body?

With the trunk all the way open, it's about 8-3/4" from mount to mount.

This place lists compatible struts for my 2017:
https://www.liftsupportsdepot.com/

OP shows location as Kyiv. NAPA may not be an option.
