Differences between ZL1 and 1LE

Now that the 1LE is available with the 10A, is it worth to get the 1LE or just upgrade?

What are all the differences?

1LE gets 19" wheels with 3R
Big wing
Different 6th gear on M6
DSSV
Front Canards

Is there anything else?
Are all the bushings the same?

Thanks in advance

The 1LE supposedly has thinner rear glass and they removed the fold down seat loop. Apparently the latch and hinge is still there, so I don't get that one. The 1LE also has solid rear cradle bushings, but all suspension bushings are the same, to my knowledge.

Much stiffer springs and BUSHINGS are solid in rear cradle.

Well the springs are part of the DSSV, so I was aware of that one.

Forgot about the rear seat.

Didn't know about the rear glass.

So...

Sounds to me if you put coilovers and solid bushings on a ZL1, you are very close to the 1LE?
Not counting the aero of course (I would want to do my own wing anyway)

Am I correct?

Your footprint is wider in front and rear with the 305/front and 325/rear... Camber plates as-well on the ZLE.

I'm trying to find the most reasonable way to get a Camaro track car for doing Optima type events and others like maybe the One Lap.

Just looking at possibilities between the 1SS 1LE, ZL1, ZLE and even a C7 GS - although I would much rather have a non 2 seater even if the rear seat in the Camaro is a joke.

I like the idea of the lighter weight SS, but the transmission sucks and I would either have to mod/stroke the engine or put on a SC. Either I'm not against, but then again, Id want to be competitive against a ZLE.

ZL1 and the A10 is a possibility as well, since I would just have to do suspension and aero. You can't get the A10 in the SS 1LE for some reason.

Of course the ZLE would be a good choice since it would be the most ready to go, but it would carry a pretty big weight penalty. Also, I wouldn't want to remove the dssv at that point to upgrade to coilovers.

If I could find a blown engine ZLE for super cheap (like it's ever gonna happen), I would build a sleeved LT1 N/A screamer and that would be my car.

It wouldn't be a daily since I have a Silverado for that.

Lots of pros and cons

DSSVs make all the difference - it's hard to get a better setup that is not fully dedicated to track work.
