new 1ss or used g8 gt and a project car
ok, im going to college next year and i currently have a 1ss on order. i am one of one at my dealer, so it might be a while till i get my order pulled. would it be smarter to just get a used g8 gt for 20-24 grand and a project classic car for 8-12k? such as a 64-67 mustang or a 70's camaro or firebird.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

Depending on your major, the project car might just be delayed until after graduation- so if you can get a rare car go for it and store it. But, I guess I have thought through the same thing as you and it is all: Camaro, Camaro, Camaro for me.
