Headliner Peeling back

Anyone else having this issue? Look very close at the top of the windshield and you can see the white foam of the headliner.

I noticed this as I had parked facing the sun today. It appears as if the foam headliner is peeling off or warping and exposing the white foam underneath. Ill be taking it in to the dealer next week.

Please check your cars as well and let me know with a pic.

This is why I normally do not buy 1st production year out. To many small issues that should be resolved before QC let's them leave the lot but unfortunately they don't. Maybe they will take the call-ins and complaints and fix them on the 2017. I was washing the inside of my front window and noticed this. Anyone else have this issue? Headliner close to the window on the front and rear windows. And what would this cutout be for?

Mine was also like that in the rear. I fixed 95% of it by pushing up on the headliner clip/pin and engaging it better. It clicked at least 5-6 times when I pushed on it.

The window tint took care of the last 5% lol

I have the gap also, however mine has not peeled yet. On the customer survey from the factory I mentioned this as a problem. Who know if they will take it into consideration.

I checked the front of mine today. its not hanging down, but really does look like crap. The edge is all inconsistent. I'm assuming everyone's is like this? Ill try and post pictures later today.

Mine is showing the foam under the headliner. I need to take it in.

Good to see chevy continuing the traditions of old. Had an uncle that had a caprice classic that had a saggy headliner too. Maybe chevrolet can bring back bob seger.

My car has the same issue but if you notice must car headliners have the foam exposed at the end. Noticed this last night when I looked at my 2nd vehicle (Toyota camry) and also my friend's car which happens to be an accord. So I think it's pretty common in most vehicles.

same issue here, had it a week and it's already sagging. went to the dealer today, getting a new headliner. wonder how long that will take.

anyone had any luck with others "fixes"?

When I bought mine, I used the checklist from this forum and the headliner looked fine.

This past weekend, my brother-in-law noticed that mine has started peeling back. His 2016 Camaro is also peeling back, almost as bad as the OP's initial photo.

i had mine replaced, and honestly the new one isn't a ton better than the old. i would be shocked if it doesn't end up back there for the exact same issue again.
i don't think it is the fault of the headliner though, we have a very slim black shade on the top of the windshield, that if it was thicker would cover it and we'd never know. make me wonder what they will revise, the headliner or the windshield

might toss some tint on mine

My foam's not showing (yet), but I did take note of the unfinished edge and the way the cloth curls down a bit when it reaches the edge. GM should've just wrapped the cloth around the edge and glued it to the backside--just something to finish it off instead of leaving it ragged.
