I see people saying they have a 1RS or 2SS or so on. just exactly what does this mean? for example, I bought my SS in December of 2009. so which one of these models is mine? is it a regular SS or a 2SS?

I feel dumb asking this question but I figured I would ask what the difference is between the two.

RS is an appearance package, Halo headlights, midnight silver rims, etc.

1SS is the base V8 model, cloth seats, not as many interior features. 2SS has leather seats, additional connectivity, 4 gauge pod, etc.

Cloth = 1
Leather = 2

Well, more then that too it, but that's the easiest way to tell. More options on the 2 levels. (ambient lighting, guage pod and bluetooth and more)

And you can't have a 1RS, but RS can be added onto any trim except LS. LS, 1LT (RS), 2LT (RS), 1SS (RS), 2SS (RS)

Plus, There are different Trim levels of the 2010 camaro:
LS,1LT,2LT,1SS,2SS
V6,V6,V6, V8, V8

The LS is the absolute base level camaro
The 1Lt has the ability to get the RS PACKAGE
The 2Lt is the highest level V6, which includes leather interior, Care and Convinence package, boston acoustics, and a few extra "perks"
The 1SS is basically the same as the 1Lt but with the V8
The 2SS is basically the same as the 2LT but with the V8

The RS package is a package that includes High Intensity Discharge (HID) HALO headlamps, tinted rear brake lights, etc...'

Edit: Not trying to make you sound stupid, but Why would you buy a car without doing a little reseach on it? A dealer could have easily pulled a fast one on you.

Looking at your pics it looks like you have the 2SS (looks like leather inside) with the RS package (halos in headlights).

-halos with projector HIDs

So what does this mean? which model do I have?

2SS with RS package.

the car was a showroom, Bumblebee edition car. the window sticker doesn't have nothing out of the ordinary except for where it says something like $800 for the Transformers Edition option. other than that, there's not anything extra on the sticker.

You dont have the window sticker??? It will say right on the top... 2SS... under options it will say RS package...

Did you do ANY research on this car or did you buy it because it was in a movie
