I want to know what is a backup sensor,,,?

Mid year 2010 cars came with them in the rear bumper, You know if you have it if there are 4 censers the size of a 1$ coin in the rear bumper.

Really?
They beep as you are in reverse if there is anything behind you so you don't accidentally hit someone or something...the closer to the object you are the more continuous the beeping is until its a solid beeeeeeeeep. Annoying but helpful if you don't have a good view of your rear..lol

Me? I know what they are, and i don't have them, Beside working on a set of tail light right now. (Never Done with mods)
