That’s a good idea! Sorry officer I forgot to put my plate back on.
I have the 2019 terrible placement of the Chevy flow tie on bumper. I just cover it up with my plate.

I had to invest into an NPC mobile. I’m a traitor for not buying GM again, lol.
No, I didn’t sell the Camaro.

What is it?? I have owned a Tundra since 2012, just sold it in January. Toyotas that we have owned and the wife still drives we have never had issues and if anything ever came up they fixed ASAP.

Put in a Rotofab CAI today (the "no tune" one which I bought from another member here, but not until after buying $120 in hardware after he said "yeah it's all there"; thank goodness Rotofab has awesome CS).
I'd say it bumped up the s/c whine from about a 3 to a 5 in volume. Good enough for me for now. Quick check on the s/c noise... Figured while I was there I would yank out the rain / snow deflector. Wow, what a pain getting that out... I literally did end up yanking out the last (bottom) connector. Getting the bolts on the hood latch isn't too much fun when you have sausage fingers with XL hands. Ratcheting wrench helps a ton. (1/2" btw) Put in the Diode Dynamics smoked LED side markers. Nice little upgrade, like the contrast. Moved my Uniden R7 over to the left about an inch so I can see the arrows, and installed a dash cam, Viofo A139 Pro 4k to the right of it. (Vid above)

Installed a couple theft deterrents, skip shift eliminator, fixed a couple trim pieces, and removed the front tire air deflectors.
Removing the deflectors plus having the car in the air for a bit made me realize just how tall the stock ride height is. I'm thinking my next major mod will be to lower the car a fraction of an inch. The GM lowering kit (Part #84225254) with springs and shocks apparently lowers it by 20mm or just over 3/4 of an inch. Now the research begins to see if there's something better aftermarket (not sure what "better" means here since I'm new to this) or if OEM is the way to go. |
