Michelin Pilot super sport

Anybody running these tires? Probably ordering mine this weekend and just wondered what experiences y'all have had with them?

Awesome tire. Tread wear is better than the p zero.

Hows the traction at 415 RWHP. Can you launch without a smokeshow?

I had Pilots on my Challenger and they wore really fast. I was only getting 15K on 2 sets of them.

I will be getting PPS next. I have heard nothing but great things from my friends that run them especially when it comes to lateral acceleration and cornering. Tire Rack and Car and Driver put them at number 1 with consumer rating for a street summer tire.

Depends on where your RPMs are hah! Even at stock rwhp you can smoke a street tire with a missed launch.

Great tires. As long as I'm on good pavement (nice concrete) I can launch pretty hard with them. And they do much better in cold or wet weather than my original F1's

I run those in all season. Totally useless in any snow, even 1/2 in. Dry and rain performance is good and better than the PZeros. They will still spin though when you step into it even from a 6 or 7 mph role especially when cold. Over all I like them.

They are the best warm weather tires I have ever had on my 2010 SS! They have been Tire Racks #ONE tire for several years in a row for a good reason!

Only 30k mile warranty on the pilots. Continental are 50k and Nitto are 60k tires. I like the Michelin but they lasted the same as my pzero. I'm going to Nitto this time....for half the price too!!
