Only the SRT8 fits your category of 'below $50k performance cars' though. Corvettes are readily available below $50k new.

So you agree, the market below $50k is viable then?
And you're exactly correct, it's the $50k Vettes that are selling, but much above that and they're sitting. I saw a left over '09 Z06 for $60k at a dealer here in Housotn back in May.

Actually no, the under $50k vettes are sitting there unsold as well and the overpriced Grand Sports and nonexistant Z06's. 2011 sales of all Corvettes are poor.

There is a market for $30k cars which explains the GT and SS. Getting in the 40k range makes it unaffordable for a lot of people.

I don't believe so. Educated buyers know not to buy expensive cars in affluent area. If a person in a major city, Miama for instance, is at the local dealer and they are asking for MSRP for a Corvette and a dealer 1000 miles away is asking $8000 under MSRP for the same car it is stupid to buy the car locally.

The stupid will always part with their money quickly.

Regardless of that, the cars are sitting unbought in Miama and Michigan, so my point is correct.

Here is a suggestion,
1) click on the "Uuser CP" link at the top of the page.
2) From the left side of the page under the "Your Control Panel" click on the "Edit Ignore List"
3) In the box provided type "alrox" and click the Okay button.

This is the DTP (delete troll posts) feature provided on C5.

Off topic and inflammatory.

The point of my last post is that Corvette sales are very poor right now. The facts support this statement.

so again i believe your wrong in your logic.

If you wish to be a stickler for misspellings you should edit your posts in this thread.

calm down before u get banned for acting like u know what the hell u are talking about. you did this over on the challenger boards too i believe. you have 0 credibility, only opinions. NO facts because you cant back them up. you are more wrong than anyone in this thread. because we are stating opinions, you come in saying you have facts. well where are they????????????? and dont start blabbing how chrysler is going under. that has 0 to do with the viper challenger car. the viper challenger car was in fact a concept car built for CHRYSLER. so the supersnake isnt going to be built either because it's pure aftermarket?

lol ur a joke and u make my life complete with the laughter u cause....ah the fact that u are dead serious makes it even better.

And yet necessary.

Corvette sales are down, sure. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Having said that, they aren't THAT bad.
