I got on Rt 79 heading North in Cranberry and ran approximately 35 miles to Grove City and got off the exit and right back on going South back to Cranberry.

This was with the AC on and the cruise control set to 65.

My Cruze has the 1.4L Turbo Eco engine, but not the Eco package.

I'm very happy with the fuel economy, specially that mine is rated at 38 highway, not the 42 of the fully Eco equipped car.

my girls fiesta gets mileage like that, its great.. sometimes makes me think.. then i hit the gas, and realize its not Ken Brocks car.. :(

Did anyone get hail damage? Some cars came into work yesterday that got pelted.. they looked like they were parked on a driving range, the one white car litterly looked like a golf ball itself. Crazy.

Hope everyone had a Happy Fourth.

Bumblebee2012 Congrats and enjoy the Cruze. We have an Eco and LTZ Have been problem free and enjoy them. Still have to take them in for the recall.

That sucks ass. I've read that the 1400hp axles are problematic.
+1 Sorry to hear. Was thinking of changing them out but holding off and seeing how things develop with the Hammerhead Rear and the new design 1000 axles.

Hope no one got severe damage and are still without power. Heres a link to imagery of the Derecho storm line. Watch it just explode over IN. Unreal.

Went to PRP last night, nobody really ran good in the heat but got some seat time. Apparantly I need more because I can't get a car to hook.

Looking like Quaker tonight, rare for me to have a Thursday and Friday off so I'm going to take advantage of it.

Going to the pirate game tonight, so I wont be attending any car events in this 98 degrees.. just eating nachos and sweating my ass off in a different way. I am afraid tho, first game Im going to in a couple years.. Everytime I begin to believe, put on the jersey, the season/team tanks.. lol. So I am hoping..

I bet were in for more badbad storms by end of this high 90 heatwave later in the weekend..

I think next year I'l actually run at the strip, when I have new tires lol

I'd start there. Over oiling is a common occurrence. Everyone wants to see the filter colored deeply with the dye from the oil. Your better off with a couple light coats sprayed 15 minutes apart so that you lightly see the color. If it's showing the color dramatically, you likely over oiled it a good bit. I've done it more than once, I admit that I get caught up in the moment and go for the like new dark red color. I have to control myself out I'll have oil running out!

Jamie,I forwarded your issue over to my tuning guy for his opinion,I would definitely clean the MAF sensor, make sure you use only specified MAF sensor cleaner,Don't use any kind of contact cleaner.
