I didn't read threw your whole post but I gotta say that your post is AWESOMELY done!!! I'm quite mechanically inclined and have built many engines but I will still go over your post before doing my cam swap as your post will definitely point out allot of things and save me time.

Absolutely fantastic. I have 2 easy questions. The 3 bolt cam gear, did you use a GM gear or aftermarket and did you remove the oil pump to install a different one or the oil pump removal is necessary for a cam swap.
