Looks Great!
Question tho..... Since we have the ZL1 fuel pump, was there any reason they had to use an aftermarket one? Thanks. |

The work has not been started yet. The title is a bit misleading.

Isn't the stock shifter better than the Hurst?

@Bhobbs & Dropspeed - The OEM 1LE shifter is "better" in what respect? They are both short throw shifters! I removed the 1LE shifter because I did not like the suede, as well as I wanted a more nostalgic approach...my car will never see a drag strip, so to say it's "better" is purely an opinion IMO! To each his own, that's what makes car modding fun!

@ SlowSS - Lethal Racing is going to produce a video of my build, dyno, and 1st drive... They will post it on this forum, as well as on Youtube...the Whipple should be in anyday now, all of the other parts are in.

And gents, you can do the majority of these mods including sc and still maintain warranty if done right.
For instance I can have a slp sc installed down the street from me at a chevy dealership and buy the slp powertrain warranty for $795. The work just has to be done by an approved slp shop. The car itself by know means has to be taken to slp. I only know slp because that's what I was researching, but I bet many have similar programs. |

To clarify. You can maintain an aftermarket warranty if done right and you use their (SLP or Edelbrocks if you buy their blowers) tune only.
The factory warranty is 5 years/100k power train I believe the SLP and Edelbrocks are 3/36k.

The slp and elder rocks are also non-transferable. That is a hesitation I have. We all say we're gonna keep these forever, but it normally doesn't happen that way. We you go to sell it, someone will be buying without warranty regardless of what you did
