Well finally someone is putting out a hood! Even though I never understood the point in paying so much for CF just to have the stock look again! A scoop or cowl would have been nice!

Agreed. Why not make the Bumblebee hood? That would sell for sure, and it's a killer look. Nice job on this though. What's the underside look like?

I saw the underside on Monday...a bit different than stock and nice looking...they do plan a couple other hoods too...

Trunk lid not sure on...spoiler is a go last I heard.

It would look great taped off and the rally stripes left!

x3 on the taped off ralley stripes with the rest of the hood painted body color. Would look even better is they did the front facia in CF and had the CF stripes come all the way down to the top of the grill area. Then same on the trunk lid and spoiler... I have a black 2SS that I would love to do this to (along with a custom CF GFX like the ZR1) then get the CF interior kit as soon as they figure out the ABL. With CF inlaid in the bowties and all the emblems powdercoated black chrome, some custom black chrome split 5 spoke wheels with CF rims.

OK, I know this would run me about $50K but I can dream right?

Any pricing on this yet? Since the Nickey hood is going for $1600 and is functional, I'd be interested in seeing what this goes for. Still holding out for a BB hood. Anybody?

I like the fact that used the oem hood shape , altered hoods on this car just don't look right to me

Rksport Carbon OEM Hood Update

The hoods been test fitted, however the car we tested it on isn't ready to be in a picture, so hopefully we'll have images soon with it on a vehicle.

The hood fit perfect, as an OEM would.

I think this hood will retail between 900-1100, were still waiting for the bill of materials to be broken down to make a final Retail cost.

We will offer this hood at a special price for the first month.

Other hoods are in the works, this hood was just something we made, because sometimes the OEM look is what people want, plus the OE Camaro hood is actually nice.

Hope to have more info for everyone soon, and better pictures, with specs.

Thanks Sean

Unfortunately it was overcast and the pic's don't do this hood (or my car!) justice! The gaps are NOT set for this test fitting. When they were set, it was perfect!
