Late reply - but cost is around $500 plus another $100 for an instructor (in novice class) with Edge Addicts. They are running in Feb and another time in March. I also get track insurance ($250-350 per event) as my standard insurance may or may not have covered it. In Texas, for focused instruction, I used Driveway Austin - they have a good two day course plus you can practice almost anytime - 2 mile F1 style course.
Lockton is who I use for the track insurance, they have an events page that includes all the large groups by track and date: http://locktonmotorsports.com/events Offhand I think Chin Motorsports, Speed Ventures, Edge Addicts and MVP seem to have a few at COTA each year. |
