Welcome aboard to the new old farts! Wooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooo The week end is here. I really need me some weekend. I had a sad ending to my long hard week. I am very worried about one of my very young clients. Read about it here & send her your prayers:

I do have Technostalgia taillights, but have had them for quite a while. I also have added colorshift halos and was thinking that that may be the cause (that I might have a wiring issue causing a slow drain on the battery). Or that perhaps I had accidentally left my Range AFM disable device plugged in. Figuring that the battery was pretty well shot, I went by AutoZone to have the battery tested (it had been replaced by GM under warranty in mid-February)... their test showed that it was a bad cell and not a slow drain. I bought another battery, since I didn't know if I would have time to deal with dealer testing, etc ... and the car wouldn't start without jump start and dropped the warranty battery off at Chevy for testing.

Hopefully, their test will confirm bad cell, and will have another battery as a spare (or pass along to someone else in need). Will find out pretty soon if the lights are causing issues ... it certainly didn't take long before.

Let's see if I can cover it all here. Welcome to the new guys, the seats look great Diane, prayers for that poor little girl Janice, keep fighting the cancer Skip and kick it's ass. I am on my first weekend camping trip in Cleveland then off to Utah early Monday morning for work. It's gonna be a long week. Have a good weekend all.

Nice seat covers Diane; can't wait to see them on. Lots of new folks lately, again, welcome to all. Have a nice trip Zandron. Glad you got your battery situation fixed Andy.

Happy Saturday everyone! Coolish here this morning but I am hoping it warms up enough to allow me to put a coat of cleaner wax on Ruby. If not I'll find something else to get into.

All the aftermarket stuff sometimes slowly but surely drains the battery. I got my Battery Tender Jr from Walmart on-line, $23, its like $6 less on-line. Makes no sense, if you go into the store and grab one, you pay more, and if you order on-line, an employee grabs it off the shelf and brings it to you for less money...... Go figure, I guess that's technology. Anyway, if you ever let the car sit for a week or so I'd get a battery tender. Doesn't overcharge the battery either.
