Picked up a Jones muffler from summit with the double Y and tried to tuck it up into the tunnel and it was just too close to everything. How the hell are you guys getting it to fit in there?

Not to add more options to the fire, we recently tried twin Magnaflow MPE-10436 on a C7 Z06 (narrower tunnel), they worked very good. They muffle nearly the noise the Jones muffler did, but fit a lot better like the MBRP R1017's. The only mods required, are grinding small flats on them, and then stitch welding them together. They are 2.5" inlet/outlet, so you have to step down/up to that diameter, which is not significant at all. Worked great

Luckily I am friends with fellow member RabbitZl1 who is running cutouts with a stock exhaust and runs mid 8's all day long, so we decided to use Rabbits setup as inspiration and come up with something super quiet on the streets but have 0 restrictions at the track. Thanks to everyones advice I decided to go with the jones x pipe , for cats i went with Gesi's rated at 500-850hp , digipower slim cutouts , and we used vbands so getting the exhaust down is very easy. Here is what we came up with
Blanco the exhaust looks amazing. Is there any way you can message me the info to the shop that did the work? I’d love to use them one day.

Sakudog,
Thanks for the under-car photos. I'm having a very similar challenge (too loud for AutoCross) with my Camaro. Two shops have said that they don't see anywhere I can add any mufflers or resonators. I saw another post about the 12469 and wondered where it fits? Thanks for the photos.

The double Y variant also provides the most noise suppression. If you value sound over horsepower, a majority of you should be fine with either the magnaflow double y, or the jones double y if you end up getting the jones variant unintentionally.

For max HP guys with no sound restrictions: Off-road setup, or straight through mid resonators

For max HP guys that want to tone their sound down with no power loss: Jones MF2469 (true x variant) mid muffler or straight through mid resonators

For the rest of the guys that dont mind giving up ~1% of their horsepower and want to significantly quiet down their off-road setup, the double Y magnaflow or jones will work fine up until 900 hp or so.
Thanks for the clarification and breakdown of options Zach. I have a bolt-on 1LE that just got kicked out of an autocross event. I need it significantly quieter. Looks like the MF will work best.
