We are ALMOST there.
Thanks Matt for the info! Look forward to hearing how it goes for the 2011!

Slow down guys, lets make sure they can read and write first. There may be some tables that need opened up. Let the testing begin and see what hurdles need to be overcome..

Ok we have our buddy coming down at 4PM EST today with a 2011.. So we will have logs from both cars to send HPTuners regardless of what happens. Hopefully with these being the first two attempts at reading we can provide HPT the information they need that when you guys go next week to your tuners it will already be good to go!!!

Yes, please be considerate of the data, people! Think of the data! Oh, the humanity! Lol

Seriously, though, this is exciting progress for the LLT crowd, and way overdue. Good luck, everyone!

Just got done talking to our head engineer about this a bit further:

"Tuner A modifies the operating system to refuse the read mode and if you flash it back to stock, the GM TIS will see the correct operating system ID on the PCM and will not overwrite the OS (similar to a cal write in HPT). He can flash it to a 2011 VIN and then flash it back to the correct VIN in order to fully overwrite the OS. Expect to see quite a few of these given that Tuner A has tuned so many."

I can try this also... However, of course with the OS being the same you are warned not to overwrite the flash but I do command it to overwrite. Let's see what happens when the 2011 comes in a few his is bone stock.
