Thanks, I have seen a couple of places that sell these, they are aluminum and come in different colors. They attach with clear silicon adhesive. I found mine on eBay -- the seller was "billetcustom". Easy to find w/search. I have no connection other than as a customer.

Prior to Flowmaster install, spinning the rear wheels was able but not real significant. Now, acts like an old V8 I had. Seems to have added quite a punch to the car !

Not real sure, but if I had to guess I would say stock mufflers are about 25lbs apiece and the Flowmasters around 14lbs apiece. Give or take a pound. The best thing is you can't see the Flowmasters from the rear like you can those stock trash cans.

Don't get me wrong, but 20 hp at the wheels from just an axle back (not even a cat back)?

It's never that easy making hp, and 20+ whp for what is basically a muffler swap seems overly optimistic (same goes for CAI claims).

If I ever do decide to mod my car, I will have a disinterested third party (unbiased) dyno to show the results.

Actually, this thread is about the v6 exhaust system and the only one that Flowmaster sells for it is an axle back:

Part No: 817483
2010 Chevrolet Camaro 3.6L V6 AMT 409S

http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/sh...V6&orig=817483

This is not directed at you personally skar, but I've seen a lot of mix up on this forum between people's responses regarding v6 versus v8 parts/performance.

Maybe it's because the Camaro is new and hopefully things will sort themselves out over time ...

Well, even if the 20+ HP was true, the other very common misconception was that its 312 (max stock power) + 20 = 332 Horses. Woo hoo!!!!!

IF ONLY it were that simple. We'd all be drivin easy 350 HP V6s with simple bolt ons.

Nope...wait a min. That 20 horses gained is not at the top of the RPM band...its more in the 5000 to 5500 RPM range, whereas at the top of the powerband your really only gaining prolly 5 to 8.
