I've been told time and again how "mature you are for your age..." When I joined the site in '07, I didn't give away my age...in order to let people 'judge' me on my character alone. I knew if I said "18", it would have hampered any good impressions people might get. But after I was around for a few months, I finally updated the DOB section as I realized most folks around here weren't that superficial. Being picked as a mod was a surprise...I remember asking them if they were sure they knew how old I was...
