I would be more than happy to put together a group buy for you all. I have checked into the part availability and the only problem I am for seeing is that the hub bezel is currently on backorder with no eta, but other than that everything looks ok. As far a combined group buy price looks like I could do a 449.00 shipped for all the parts to the 48 states. This is without 2SSRS’s harness he came up with, and since I see mention other sponsors are bothering him so I do not want to since he did all the hard work to come up with this and deserves to make some money on it, but if he wants to contact me I will gladly collaborate orders with him in a group buy for a complete kit, and we can come up with a solution for all of you that would like to convert. Anyone interested please feel free to shoot me an email at patrick@gmpartshouse.com

I dont even have a Camaro yet but Im already eagerly anticipating this mod. Especially since it wont cost that incredibly much. $450 while is a lot isnt back breaking like purchasing a 2LT with HUD from factory. Plus I'm someone who likes doing things for myself and being able to say I did so. Its for these reasons why I'm getting a LS. Everything I can get in later models I can do aftermarket now. Thanks for all your hard work 2SSRS!

Typically, that's how Packard rolls. Minimum order quantities are insane. Sometimes I can get a hookup and bypass the min quantities but, it's hit or miss.

Plug n play is very nice and much appreciated. I may go that route depending on if I can get the parts or not. It's more of a principal thing of not paying for something that I can do quite easily. I mean no disrespect towards what you've done or the service you'd be providing for that harness. I just can't see paying that much for a 6 wire connector.

As for the part #s, they're directly from the Delphi/Packard print when I put 19115655 into the GM parts finder. Could it be wrong or changed? Sure. But, that's what I came up with. I haven't heard back from my parts person yet so, we'll see if I can get some samples or pricing, at least.

If you get the harness from me it comes with all the connectors on it there is no wiring that you need to do, Its 100% plug and play.

You will not find 19115655 on Delphi's website because that is a GM part #. The GM part # is typically different than the OEM part #. You probably won't find the 15488869 on Delphi's website either because a lot of GM's proprietary parts Delphi/Packard makes aren't in their general database. I don't know how many times I've called a connector manufacturer looking for a mate to a connector or terminals or whatever and for them to tell me that part doesn't exist. "Well that's funny, I'm holding it in my hand and it has your company's stamp right on it." Sufficed to say, this isn't my first rodeo.

I don't think you're understanding me brother... I was speaking about the connector manufacturers not knowing what their own company's are making and telling me that they don't make a connector when I, in fact, have it in my hands.

Companies like Delphi/Packard, JST, Deutch, Molex... just to name a few.

Hey guys,

My 2 cents, I havent read through the whole thread as i just found this thread a min ago, but my phone has a HUD and when i tried to use it in the camaro it had a horrible double image.

I hope that just has to do with how close it was to the windsheild and maybe the way the image projects from the phone.

Food for thought y'all
