I don't understand this stuff, but glad it's right and being built!

Reluctor wheel?

6 bolt, huh? I count 10 bolt holes so obviously I'm clueless here!

Got the boost gauge Emma.

Thank you lots. You forgot to send me a bill for shipping.

Reluctor wheel? Usually a 58 tooth "wheel" used for the ignition and fuel timing on a LS series engine.

There are 6 bolts around each cylinder which provides superior clamping power. The normal are 4 bolt. Think of a Hexagon versus a Square. You have 50% more holding power which comes into play when boost tries to separate the cylinder head from the block.

Don't worry about $ for the gauge or shipping. It's a gift to a friend. I'm glad it's found a good home.

We'll keep working on you to get you to get a forged TT set up.

Thanks, B. The mechanic (Tom) really wanted me to go with 6-bolt heads... which of course caused me to decide to get the Hogan intake.

He said the goal is to have the engine assembled and in the car by next week. I'll get more pictures as things progress.

I must admit, I can't wait to see what the engine will look like with that Hogan intake on there!

Now I'll have to figure out how to install it.

Should be a piece of cake.

I can see an LSX build possibly but not a TT. I'd put my Maggie on it. Maybe a bigger displacement like the whipple but I could never afford the TT set-up and necessary strength mods required.

The mechanic said it needs 2 wires (power and ground) and a vacuum tube. He's said it's very simple.

Well I can guarantee you have more pull with your husband than I have with Bonnie.

I"m thinking a rear end, supercar fronts and a tranny build are in my more near future. haha

Yup. That's what I had guessed. Looks pretty easy.

I wonder if there is any certain strength of tubing......... or should I just use.... 'Orange' ....

Yes...those are nice heads....I debated All Pro and MAST and not sure why we ended up with MAST...both are great so it's kind of a no lose situation.
