I called from a different number and they answered but acted like they have just got the phone today and have boo idea. Also hung up once I mentioned the situation. Right after I called from my phone and it was hung up as soon at answered. Definitely have been scammed. Seeking ask help to resource payment back. Supply. Or to make sure that he doesn't do this to someone else

Note to self, anyone wanting to use Walmart for a financial transaction may be a sign of trouble.

Wow. Gonzo.SS was supposed to buy them! Whew! did he dodge a bullet.

First, thing I look at is how long someone is on the forum. He signed up 08/22/14. So he's a new guy and now he's already selling headers bc he already has a set on his car. Second, He only has 19 posts. Third, he doesnt want to use paypal. Deal or no deal... im not risking $600. That's just me personally.

I learned my lesson. If the opp would just answer or send my money or the product. But he won't. So unless you guys want to make a 600 mistake. I would never but from him.

You're pretty new yourself I see... Yeah, you usually want people that have some tenure, that participate in threads, a profile picture, have some trader feedback. If they arent using paypal, id be trying to pick up locally. But Hopefully an admin BANs this person. Im sure he used his real name to pick up money but youre a long way from Florida.

Based on previous experience from other automotive forums I used to frequent, I made a general rule to not deal with buying/selling to those that have less than 6 to 8 months on a fourm and at least a 100 post count. Just my own rule from getting scammed for a $600 transmission.

Good luck on resolving your situation.

Good luck on resolving your situation.
I see your point of view- other forums that I belong to require that you have so many posts in tech forums before you can enter the market place as a buyer or seller. The unfortunate part is the people like myself are essentially screwed then. I joined in July '13 and this will be my ~165th post. Some of us simply don't post, because we use the tech forum they way that they were intended to be used- WE READ! How often do we all get irritated with the "which header/exhaust combo..." post that seems to show up every 30 days, like clock work? I wondered the same thing when I was purchasing mine, however I read others' reviews on drone, throttle response, watched videos, etc. These cars were first sold in 2009 and here we are headed into 2015- the cars haven't changed much, the parts are relatively repetitive, so what need is there to post if you can do a simple search function to get the answer you need? This forum is incredibly comprehensive- it seems as though anything and everything that can be tried or tested on these cars has been, and it's all been documented on here.

I am by no means challenging you on your point of view, I understand the concern. I was just simply pointing out the box that those of us who don't post fall into given that mind set. I have made nearly 25-30 transactions on here as a buyer, seller, by barter, with vendors and members alike- I didn't receive feedback from everyone, but all of them that I have received have been positive. Just my $.02
