All would be my call. You need to make sure they all are within the tolerences. Pull one test replace plug move to next, repeat. I don't think its necessary for the car to start just having the engine turn over should be enough.

Have you had the problem a while? I mean have you run different tanks of fuel through it? I was having probably the same issue as you late last fall and swapped from the e85 back to the 91oct and it went away as soon as I got good gasoline in it. I'd take her on a roadtrip and get all remnants out and new fuel back in.
I also had my nitrous plugs in it(colder heat range and e85 didn't seem to like each other as much on start-up) and swapped back to stock. Checking your plugs if you're running e85 is going to be fun as there's even less deposits. I have been contemplating going back to the e85 already(we've seen some really warm days already) but the early morning starts were rough. Sometimes I thought I had a piston or rod coming apart. Compression test is done with the engine in a non-start mode. We would unhook the coil and turn the engine over to get a reading.

I never had this problem before. Even with e85's back fire and bucking didn't cause any misfire CEL like it has caused for me lately. This problem started happening a little after I been running the new test tune. Same 93 gas I been using since last year without any issue. I doubt its bad gas. I guess I will know for sure tomorrow when I check the plugs and compression to see if too much timing and cylinder compression burned out my valves or damaged my cylinder walls.
So it really doesn't matter if I unplug all the spark plugs or just do one at a time as long as the coils are unhooked and not startable right? how many times should I crank? thanks Paul/kmorph. |

I hope so. I tell you this much tho..I haven't had a cel all day today and the car started just fine but its been a little warmer today so not sure its because of that or the fuel system cleaner. The cold start been a little choppy tho. I just hope my compression test come back normal. Whatever the case might be I will get to the bottom of this.

Thanks alot Chad, I really appreciate the offer and I sure will keep that in mind
Sooo.... I just seen that video usa1 posted and do I really have to unhook the fuel pump relay and leave the throttle blade wide open? I don't remember compression test being done this way I thought I just unhook the coils and start testing each cylinder. Someone please give me a run down on the proper procedure to do this on this car. |

nevermind..my neighbor just went through the correct process with me on doing the compression test. What do you do without your good ol neighbors lol
So...I just need to know which fuse I need to pull to disable the fuel injectors. Once I can get that info I will be set. Anyone know which fuse or fuses I need to pull to disable the fuel injectors? |

about to go out here and check the plugs and do a compression check in about an hour and see where my faith lie ahead but I need to make sure that I am pulling the correct fuse to disable the fuel injectors. Can anyone confirm which fuse would be the correct fuse to pull??
I'm thinking mini fuse #9 fuel injectors even and #10 for fuel injectors odd or... do I just pull the #F15 fuel system module in the trunk??
